Upgrade of 9A34M, 9A35M systems to SRL S10-CROA1
refers to improvement of tactical and technical characteristics on existing launchers of air-defense forces.
"SRS PZO S-10CROA1" is, compared to "RS PZO S-10M", upgraded and significantly improved surface-to-air missile system. Improvements of the system are:
- replacement of optical targeting device with optoelectronic subsystem with CCR camera and monitor for target detection at day-time
- installation of thermal vision (FLIR) camera for target detection and tracking in conditions of reduced optical visibility
- central computer for guidance control and commander's computer are installed in order to enable centralized and more efficient target-tracking control from battery command vehicle. System control is accomplished through implementation of digital modem wired or wireless connection.
- launch zone and launch permission automatic calculation. Launch zone could be calculated for different types of missiles, simply selecting adequate software thread.
- replacement of radar range finder (whih is not a solution implemented in modern systems) with laser range finder
- vehicle/launcher positioning subsystem, consisting of automatic vehicle position sensors – GPS, masurement of azimuth (electronic compass) and automatic launcher inclination measurement. This improvement increases target destruction effectiveness during vehicle movement.
- commander's position of the vehicle is equipped with computer and monitor enabling commander more effective handling of crew assignments and having better control of launcher condition. Complete crew training and combat actions can be monitored and recorded, apllying DVD recorder which is a part of commander's post
- incresed efficiency of performing commands "back" and "forward" and automatic determination of anticipated target position before rocket is launched
- possibility of using 9M333 rockets – reliability of SRS PZO S-10CROA1 in contrast and opto-electronic interferences environment is increased
- SRS PZO S-10CROA1 is a more up-to-date system then RS PZO S-10M. Due to contemporary technology application, this system has better operational characteristics. Deployment time in centralized fire control mode and increased reliability characteristics make this system very competitive, compared to other modern systems on the market

Battery communication

| Upgrade proposal is referring to improvement of rocket launcher system on existing combat vehicle (project must verify possibility of accomodating new subsystems). |

Upgraded surface to air missile launcher system compared to the existing version has following advantages:
- Better target tracking in all operational/environmental conditions due to installed cameras and monitors as well as better cooperation between commander and operators.
- Instantenous vehicle position data. With this data and built-in computers it is possible to obtain target position from the outside (acquisition radar or portable guidance device) which automatically directs launcher on target.
- Computer system is based on embedded computer solution with Real-Time (RT) operating system (providing determinism and reliability). Computer system unites target data analysis (image processing, position data analysis, target tracking), position of rocket system and performs analysis in order to simplify target selection and firing decision. The system is also used for selected data recording, control of launcher positioning and monitoring of subsystems' integrity and functionality. Upgrade of communication implies incorporation of newer communication system (in agreement with the contracter) with the idea of incorporating into the system as much modern solutions (utilising wireless communication) as possible. Besides introducing multi-channel multipurpose radio link (with more analog and digital communication channels), internal digital link is also included. With this – much greater possibilities of voice and data communication are achieved.
